A long-term VRC Member, Dean is still dining out on his First 4 coup from Aust Cup Day 2021. A tidy return, a tale well told—now he’s eyeing another payday this weekend. Let's hope he can.

AHHA AHHA (9) is a progressive filly who looks well placed to win again. She was afforded a sweet ride tracking a strong speed last time and really put them away dominantly, scoring by three lengths. Gave the indication 1600m will be right up her alley now and she'll carry just 51kg after the claim. TAKEN (7) is a nice type on the up, well supported and winning well at Sandown Hillside last time out. Ticked the 1600m box there and can put himself on speed. Go close. KALKALLO (2) continues to race well, just missing here last time over 1400m. Yet to be tried over this trip but should handle it and only needs to hold his form to be right there again. DARK SIMBA (10) is an interesting one. He's won his past two, dominant in the maiden at Pakenham before tagging a very strong speed and winning well at Sale. Not sure back to 1600m is what he wants, if anything 2000m looks his go. ZOURAIN (6) got the bob here last time and has claims.
