A long-term VRC Member, Dean is still dining out on his First 4 coup from Aust Cup Day 2021. A tidy return, a tale well told—now he’s eyeing another payday this weekend. Let's hope he can.

See no reason to jump off JIMMY THE BEAR (3) who was well supported and duly saluted last week at Caulfield, scoring by half a length, strong to the line. He's a rock-solid miler at this sort of level and may even strip a touch fitter third up. POUNDING (1) is knocking on the door of another elusive win. He's worked home well without threat at his past couple and only needs the right run to be breaking through. Not sure what to do with OH TOO GOOD (5). The return at Caulfield was very good and she was heavily backed at Sandown Hillside last time, seemingly with every chance. The last 100m there was disappointing and while she'll be fitter again, she needs to lift. REGAL VOW (7) is going well and steps back up to a mile which should suit. Was behind Jimmy The Bear last time but has claims. CHICAGO STORM (6) could be an improver and give a sight.
