Race 6 Overview

A year ago we saw Home Affairs come off running in the high-pressure Everest to win this in emphatic fashion and it could be a case of history repeating with JACQUINOT (1) following that path this time. He was terrific there and has plenty of depth to his form. Rounded up a smart one fresh then did the same to IN SECRET (15) in a good edition of the Golden Rose which has produced plenty of winners. That form looks to the fore. BEST OF BORDEAUX (2) skipped that but won the Roman Consul well and he was really good in the Manikato last week. Big pace there and he stuck at it gamely. COOLANGATTA (14) had beaten the winner, Bella Nipotina, in the Moir and is going to have fans on the back of that. The race runs deep but that quartet look to hold the aces.
