Race Preview

LA FRACAS (8) has come back in outstanding fashion, plowing through the heavy ground to win in fast time at both Mornington and Sandown Lakeside. The stable keep him at 1200m again but he seems to be relishing it and Shinn going on is a positive. Drawn the inside but is on an upward spiral that the others may not be able to match. DE BERGERAC (11) was behind La Fracas at Sandown, starting second favourite on that occasion. He gets in light here and drawn out wider could be an advantage. GREAT MAXIMUS (2) brought strong SA form across the border and ran well here last time, beaten under a length. Back to 1200m should suit better. EYE OF THE FIRE (3) was poor first up at Rosehill but was right in the market there. His form last time in reads well fro this, he can improve sharply. MOBY DICK (6) was good last time and is an each way chance again.
