Race Preview

Very tough race. SOUND IT OUT (7) is a progressive mare who came from well back to score at Sandown Lakeside last time out. She's one that profiles as if she'll measure up in better grades and drops 3.5kg after the claim for Tom Prebble who is one of the better apprentices in this Rising Stars Final race. PARIAH PEARL (2) is knocking on the door having just found one better at her past couple, run down by Sound It Out last start. She'll land in the first few from a good draw and take plenty of catching. JAZZ AFFAIR (10) is going better than the form guide reads, good to the line off a very slow tempo last time out. Unproven at this trip but if she runs it out she's a solid chance. MISS TARZY (1) was a shock winner of the Leilani Series Final here first up, bursting through late to score. She has a big weight here but the rise in trip only suits better. CLAYMORE MINE (5) has won two in a row and can measure up.
