FRANKIE PINOT (3) ran really well, beaten by one potentially in a better position on the track, in his Wangoom defence and he backed that up with a solid effort in the Goodwood in Adelaide last time. Far easier here and 1400m is ideal now. IT'SOURTIME (6) missed the Wangoom at the last moment but he made amends winning here last time. Two 1400m tries have been sound so no real issue there and if he can repeat latest he goes close. JIMMY THE BEAR (7) was just okay behind him last time but was first up and can be much better this time. Unbeaten in two second up. CROSSHAVEN (2) is always a hope in these races and BEEHUNTER (14) has a chance off a big run last time behind a horse in top form.
