Just an even lot and with a clash between SA Derby form and the equivilent race here a fortnight back. Lean the way of the South Australian race and AIN'T HE GRAND (4) who was no match at all there but with an obvious excuse. Too keen in the blinkers and they come straight back off for this. Building nicely prior in better races. FIRST IMMORTAL (1) won the equivilent race here two weeks back and gets every chance to follow up. Will put himself in the right spot. SON OF SOLLY (6) was second there and is respected along with the strong-finishing VERIFIER (15) who had measured up in Adelaide the run prior.
