There are a few horses on this card that look destined for bigger things and SPLASH BACK (6) is one of them. She was heavily supported first up over 1200m at Caulfield and proved far too good, rounding them up with ease to score by 2.25 lengths. That trip was always the query and now getting to 1420m, dropping in weight against a few that have found their mark, she looks a very likely winner. AVEBURY (5) is racing well, just touched off by Fire Of Etna over this route last time out. She puts herself on speed and will take catching. MOLLYNICKERS (3) doesn't win many because of her negative racing pattern but is going well. Back to her own sex here, it's just how big a start she concedes. FIRE OF ETNA (2) dove through to score at healthy odds here fresh and has claims again while HEARCOMESTHESTAR (7) is a winner over this trip in easier company, racing as if it'll be no issue again now.
