Race Analysis

It's been a slow building spring for PERSAN (1), running well in Group races in September, October and November and now into December he gets his chance to convert good form into winning form. Has been threatening to peak all preparation and it could be that it happens now back in much weaker company. He has thrived on racing in the past and no issues with this stable pressing on with one. NOBEL HEIGHTS (3) can give him the most to do. Has raced himself right into form and will be on speed keeping Persan honest. Trip is interesting for ADELAIDE ACE (2). Strong at 2000m in the Werribee Cup and that looks good enough to see him involved here. Through the same race CORMORANT (4) looks like he could thrive on the longer trip and he stays right under notice.
