Expert Overview

PRIVATE EYE (2) has been one of the stars of the spring. Wins either side of his Everest second have been oustanding, backed up by impressive numbers on the clock, and we know that he stays the mile well as an Epsom winner. Better horse now and the one to beat in this. Back to a mile is ideal for ALLIGATOR BLOOD (4) now. Massive run here in the Makybe Diva and made the most of a slack pace to win the Underwood. Longer trips have seen him out but he has still run with merit and he did manage to hold out Private Eye in the Stradbroke. That reads well. CASCADIAN (3) has a great record in this race and has been better than ever this spring. Softer pace might be some query for him. MR BRIGHTSIDE (5) can be closer this time. Nothing wrong with his efforts from back in the field against top liners of late. MY OBERON (9) made a winning start in Australia and set for this. Blinkers go on and he has G1 form in Europe.
