He's placed at his past two at Listed level at Caulfield but does typically save his best for the Flemington straight and the wide draw should also be of assistance. Big watch on JOYFUL FORTUNE (3) who resumes off a very long spell, last seen winning the Century Stakes here over two years ago. He's been jumping out very well but it's hard to know if he'll be ready, with late betting the key. PEREILLE (5) hasn't won this time in but has been racing well and just missed with a big run at Canterbury last time. The straight track could suit his turn of foot. IOWNA MERC (2) beat Pereille at Canterbury and is in flying form. No knocks. Interesting placement with 3yo WONDER BOY (9) who has good ability and can measure up.
