VRC MEMBER JENNIFER LEFEBVRE TROPHY
This is wide open. BEOUR BAY (9) is a handy mare who has only missed a place once from 11 starts. She's been beaten narrow margins at her past two, including at Caulfield last start when beaten a head and she gets her chance from the ideal draw here. GOOD AND PROPER (3) is a tricky one to assess. Her best is comfortably good enough to be beating these but she was well beaten over 1600m here last time. 1400m is her pet trip and her run two back at this track and distance goes very close here. FEARNOUGHT (5) got a deserved breakthrough last start at Randwick over this trip. Her form in Sydney this time in reads well for this and Blake Shinn takes the ride. HELL HOUND (8) was afforded every chance but made the most of things to beat Beour Bay narrowly last start. No reason she can't do so again.
