Tough race. FEROCE (6) has the form on the board last preparation, beaten under a length by Angel Capital and Public Attention in the Caulfield Guineas Prelude before missing a nose in the Guineas itself to Private Life. Can forgive the run in the Carbine Club as favourite before a spell, he was beaten by two good fillies and was probably over the top by that point anyway. ROYAL INSIGNIA (3) is progressive, resuming from a short spell to win the G3 Manfred Stakes over 1200m off a BM64 win prior. He should measure up. SEPALS (14) is off a BM64 win himself, scoring nicely as favourite over this trip at Sandown Lakeside. Tipping he's up to this. HENLEIN (10) resumes. He didn't win last campaign but ran some strong races, beaten a neck in the G1 Spring Champion before a spell. Might get too far back here but will be charging late. STAY FOCUSED (7) was okay fresh and is a possible improver.
