VRC LIFE MEMBER JOHN DALE MILE
BOTANY (5) is a handy mare who resumed with an encouraging run at Caulfield over 1400m, hitting the line nicely for third, beaten 1 length. Not any harder here and with the added fitness and extra trip she can go a couple better. EL SOLEADO (8) has placed at all four runs this time in and will take beating again. He tried hard over 1400m here last time in a handy race and looks ready for another crack at a mile. Rates highly. ZAMBORGHINI (1) won well two back before starting even money at Moonee Valley last time and just going down. Will take stopping again with even luck from the draw. APERITIVO (12) had no luck last start and her form prior was rock solid. With a kinder run this time she can bounce back. NAVAL SEAL (11) should be ready to peak third-up.
