Race Preview

RISE AT DAWN (3) continues to race very well, beating the highly regarded Craig three starts back before two rock-solid second placings here, just run down in the Silver Bowl Final last time out. No issue drawn wide, he'll roll forward and prove very hard to catch again. LE ZEBRA (6) is the tricky one. He found a very weak race last start, got an easy lead and bolted in by five lengths over 1700m. He's tackled some good races in his career and a repeat of last start will see him go close again here. NAILS MURPHY (10) comes down from Sydney and looks to be knocking on the door. He drops in weight here and should be hard to hold out. STEP ASIDE (11) should be ready to peak now third up and out to a mile which should suit. CAWDOR (2) is a former import who relished a wet track in Adelaide last start to win well. Back on the radar now, especially if soft. GEORGIE GET MAD (5) can take a trail behind the favourites and run well.
