THE AMANDA ELLIOTT
QUICKSTER (7) is very interesting. She had no luck in the G2 Fillies Classic at Moonee Valley last time but her last 100m was eye-catching. Plenty of upside and Flemington should suit her nicely. If she can land midfield and find clear running, she'll be very hard to hold out. SCHWARZ (6) was dominant on debut at Gosford but missed the start at Moonee Valley and struggled from there. If he jumps cleanly he'll be hard to catch. DON'T HOPE DO (2) led and was solid at Moonee Valley last time over 1200m. His breeding suggests this trip will suit and he should be hard to run down. PANTELONE (3) has been racing well against the older horses. Up to 1400m but that should be fine, he must be considered. ALSONSO (12) looked a good thing and got the job done at Benalla by 5.5 lengths. Deserves another crack at this level.
