MR BRIGHTSIDE (1) was probably a touch too far back there and ran on well for second, but he would've also struggled to win regardless. That said, he looks better suited out to 2000m from the inside draw where he can stalk the leader. That leader will of course be PRIDE OF JENNI (7) who was outstanding last time. Can she run out 2000m around Flemington with Brightside closer in the run? CASCADIAN (2) was excellent late there and did win this last year. He'll be charging late again. ATISHU (8) is a top mare who skipped the All-Star Mile. That might prove beneficial. She's good enough.
