His run in the Champions Sprint before a spell was excellent, beaten half a length by Imperatriz, meeting her 4.5kg better. He was in a different postcode at the turn first up and couldn't have done much more. IMPERATRIZ (1) is far and away the best horse in the race. She proved too good in the G1 Lightning Stakes first up and has the class to win again, 58kg and all. MAGIC TIME (6) went to the paddock a G1 winner. She's a top mare who gets in nicely here and looks very capable of measuring up. SGHIRRIPA (12) missed the start in the Oakleigh Plate and ran on well. His win here prior was very good and he gets in on the minimum. BELLA NIPOTINA (2) is a classy mare who can win this at her best.
