Race Form

STEEL RUN (4) is lightly raced, working home strongly over 2000m at this track last start. He's a month between runs and out to 2500m but should handle the rise in trip and can land closer from the better draw this time. AZTEC STATE (1) is a handy stayer who won a key lead up here over 2000m last time out. He's got to concede these a fair amount of weight but has a bit of class. PIGGYBACK (3) is a progressive filly who has won 3 from 5, scoring over 2000m on wet ground at Randwick last time out. She should measure up. ELIUD (2) won two in a row prior to last start when solid in the main lead up. He should relish the 2500m. HERRLICH (5) won over 2400m at Sandown Hillside last time so the trip will be no issue.
