How long have you been a member of the VRC?
I have been a member of the Victoria Racing Club since 1994.
What, or who got you into horseracing?
My father-in-law, as he was born on the day Phar Lap won the Melbourne Cup.
Have you had a memorable win on a horse that you can share with us?
Yes, it was on a horse called Brass Farthing in the early 1980's.I think it was at Sandown racecourse in the pouring rain. The horse was paying 500-1. An omen bet as my mother-in-law's maiden name was Farthing. A great win.
Who would you say is your favourite racehorse over the years?
In Australia, it would be Black Caviar. Overseas, it would be Secretariat.
Do you have a jockey/trainer that you always follow on a race day?
The jockey would be Jamie Kah, with T&C McEvoy the trainer.
Will you be on track this Saturday at Flemington?
Yes, I will be at Flemington on Saturday and participating in the members Punter's Club.
