LEXUS HOLIDAY PLATE

Back to Flemington for the first time since Cup week with the rail back in the true. Good card starts with an interesting race. RIVER RIBBLE (3) has good talent and his return as a gelding hinted that he might be ready to go right on now and string some wins together. Good closer at 1000m and looks like being far better suited at 1200m. RIVER NOIRE (12) walked in on debut at Moe. Much the best there and looks capable of measuring up in this deeper test. Stablemate SHE DANCES (4) wasn't miles away here over Cup week and won well enough around Cranbourne last time to consider. THE GUAVA (5) was okay behind River Ribble at Pakenham and can also be fitter for this.
