Track: currently SOFT 6.  Hopefully get back into the Soft 5 range come start of races on Saturday.  
Conditions: 39.6mm of rain received in the past week.  Plenty of moisture in the ground. Drier conditions are forecasted for Friday and into Saturday.  

Rail: 9m position, traditional spot a month out from Carnival to protect the inside track for Cup week.
