That’s a wrap on the VRC Autumn Carnival and today’s VRC Punters Club at Flemington for the TAB Australian Cup!

A huge shout out to our team captains, Grace Ramage (Team Light Fingers) and Marc Ohlmus (Team Archer), for their top-tier banter, expert form analysis, and dedication to finding winners for those on-course throughout the day and the season.

The TAB Australian Cup delivered some sensational racing, with Light Infantry Man’s commanding win in the feature, Deakin holding off Berkshire Breeze by a head, and Enxuto’s breathtaking victory in the Curragh Handicap. Hopefully, you landed a winner with our selections on Inside Run—we know there were at least five winners on the day!

It wasn’t the best day for punters in the Punters Club, with Team Archer coming up short and Team Light Fingers unable to deliver a return. But the good news? We’re back in action on ANZAC Day, April 25th!

An amazing finish in the TAB Australian Cup with #1 LIGHT INFANTRY MAN too good for the field to hold on for the win! 

Shame Pride Of Jenni didn't get up for the win, the bar staff were waiting to help celebrate!

Light Infantry Man's win puts Grace and her team out of the Quaddie. So now both teams are out of the Quaddie.  Time to get some cash back into the kitty.

How to get involved: 

Note: Participants MUST be on course to be eligible to join the Punters Club.

Registrations

• Register for only $10 cash prior to the jump of Race 4.
• Each entrant will receive an entry card that will need to be held onto to collect any winnings later in the day.

How it works

• Head to one of the Punters Club sign-up tables on course, pay your $10 entry fee, before the starting race 4 and you're in! 
• You will receive an entry card, which you will need to show at the end of the day to collect any winnings.
• The starting kitty will be $500 courtesy of the VRC plus the $10 from each entrant is used by our expert tipsters to place bets
• Bets are placed from the starting race (race 3 or 4) and the last race at Flemington as well as bets at any racetrack across the country.
• Any winnings from bets can be used to place future bets on the day.
• Follow live updates from our blog, listen to our tipsters in person in the nominated spots, or check out the chalkboards located on course throughout the day.
• Once all races are completed, head back to the sign-up table and collect your winnings!

Collection

• Any winnings can be collected from the registration desks in The Peak or TAB Saintly Place following correct weight of the last race at Flemington. Entrants must present their entry card and sign it to collect any winnings.
• Any unclaimed winnings by a VRC Member will be automatically placed on their cash-on-card balance after the race day.
• Public patrons must be present to collect their winnings. Any unclaimed winnings will be donated to a VRC charity partner.
