The world's best sprint race takes centre stage at Flemington for a Super Saturday of world-class racing, dining, and entertainment.

The Flemington Racing Spectacular will be in full swing on Super Saturday as Australia's most famous sprinting handicap, the $1.5 million Group 1 Yulong Newmarket Handicap (1200m) headlines a scintillating card.

This year will mark 151 years of the Newmarket Handicap – voted by Longines World Racing Awards in 2023 as the world’s best sprint race and boasting an honour roll of some of our greatest sprint champions and memorable underdogs. 

Racegoers of all ages are invited to indulge in the ultimate retro resort as the Flemington Fareground makes an exciting return as the vibrant Fareground Resort.
