VRC Track Manager, Liam O'Keeffe talks through the preparation for Sunday's racing at Flemington Racecourse.

Track: GOOD 4.  Potentially get to Good 3 throughout the afternoon on Sunday with sunny weather predicted this weekend.  
Conditions: Very different to last year, with a wet lead into Spring in 2022.  This year, the track has needed more watering to ensure it is in good condition for the upcoming Carnival. 
Rail: 14m position.  Traditional spot each year to allow the track to recover and be ready for Turnbull Stakes Day and Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Wind: Northerly - approx 15-22km/h

Rail out 14m will see horses utilise the full width of the track up the straight.
