Tough race to start. LA SPEZIA (7) wasn't beaten far last start at Sandown-Lakeside having also run well at Moonee Valley the start prior. Kept fresh for the 1800m and Blake Shinn on can see her run well. DONATRICE (2) won in very fast time at Moonee Valley last start. She's come out of nowhere to some extent but has to be given plenty of thought now. FUTURE MONARCH (8) has won her past two in easier grade. She's still lightly raced and the trip will pose no issue so suspect she measures up. KOROBEINIKI (10) broke her maiden easily two back before a sound effort at this level last time. Improving type who can figure. MOYA LASS (4) was just fair first up when hard in the market but should strip plenty fitter and can improve sharply.

Not among the main chances.

The race before that ran on from midfield and won by a nose at Geelong 0 - 64 July 30 over 1715m defeating Rockeby Road with 58kg at $21. Racing well and can win again.

The run before that came from midfield and won by 0.8 len at Geelong Bm64 August 25 over 1547m defeating Crown Harmonium carrying 56kg at $5.50. Genuine hope.

First up last campaign second of 11 at Chester Rating 85 July 31 2022 over 2472m, 1.3 len behind The Nu Form Way carrying 60kg at $5. Hasn't shown enough.
Second-up today. Last run 7th of 9 at Casterton Bm64 on September 10 over 1400m, slow going 4 len behind China Affair with 59kg at $16. At only start last preparation 2nd in a small field at Mont-de-Marsan on July 20 2022 over 2000m, 1.3 len behind Caramelito with 56kg at $5.20. Unlikely to threaten.

Watch for her late in the piece.
