BLUE STRATUM (4) didn't make the field at Moonee Valley where he was set to jump favourite. By a very fast sire in Blue Point, he's shown plenty of early speed and jumped out well. Should be right there and prove hard to get by. ADMITTED (1) has had a run, winning very nicely at Bendigo by 1.5 lengths. In good hands and gets McDonald on. Big danger. CATOGGIO (5) is a colt by leading sire Written Tycoon for the Waterhouse & Bott yard. Their 2yo's are very hard to beat as a rule and he's trialled well. Very wary. DUBLIN DOWN (2) was beaten by Blue Stratum when they met but did start favourite and can continue to improve. ALAA PLENTY (3) next best.

Claiming his maiden victory on debut; won by 1.5 len at Bendigo 2yo Mdn-Sw October 21 over 1000m defeating Dublin Down carrying 58kg at $5. Strong win on debut and that race experience will prove invaluable. Hard to beat.
Raced two times to date. At debut, 4th of 9 at this track in the LR Maribyrnong Trl on October 7 over 1000m, slow going 3.5 len behind Bodyguard carrying 58kg at $10. Last start 2nd in a small field at Bendigo 2yo Mdn-Sw on October 21 over 1000m, 1.5 len behind Admitted with 58kg at $2.40. Showing plenty of promise and can improve.
At debut, 4th of 8 at Caulfield in the LR Debutant Stks on October 18 over 1000m, 4 len behind Coleman with 58kg at $17. Sound on debut and will be better for it.
Two-year-old colt who is first starter by Blue Point out of Tawteen. Purchased for AUD $ 130,000 (Inglis 2023 Premier Yearling Sale). Jumped out very well recently at Terang showing very good natural speed and he should prove hard to catch over this trip.
Colt by Written Tycoon facing the starter for the first time. Trial form indicates he's up to a solid debut. Won trial at Randwick over 742m on October 20. In very good hands with Waterhouse & Bott and looked smart at the trials. Big chance.
First-starter by Brazen Beau out of Rose Pattern. Not seen on the track yet so hard to assess. Watch the market.
First-starter by Night Of Thunder out of Good Vibes. Not seen on the track yet so hard to assess. In good hands, a big run wouldn't surprise.
First-starter by Snitzel out of Mother's Milk. Happy to be against at this stage.
