ROOTS (1) can bounce back after a disappointing effort second up in The Invitation at Randwick. Was in the market there off a good run first up and looks better suited getting to 1600m now. Her best likely wins this and she should bounce back. CLIMBING STAR (6) ran a good race last time, trying hard behind Buffalo River over 1400m at Caulfield. She hasn't won over a mile but has run second twice and maps ideally here. FOXY FRIDA (2) was coming along well but was just run off her feet on Saturday in the G1 Empire Rose. Better placed here. CHANDON BURJ (3) is racing well, placing in the Seymour Cup last start. May lack the class of a few of these but is in the mix. OUR EMPRESS ZOE (7) tried hard over 1700m at Caulfield last time and can get into the finish.

Group 3 winner. Most recently 12th of 16 at this track in the G1 Empire Rose on November 4 over 1600m, 5.5 len behind Pride Of Jenni with 57kg at $26. The race before that made ground from midfield; 3rd of 10 at Caulfield in the G3 L/Day Vase on October 14 over 1600m, 2 len behind Wishlor Lass with 58kg at $8.50. Finds a suitable race.
