Hard to look past the form that D'JUMBUCK (7) brings. Posted a strong rating to win here two back and then followed up last time with another win that rated strongly. No reason to think that he drops away now. Similarly, KENTUCKY CASANOVA (6) turns up off back-to-back wins and looks a threat. Wins have come in easier but he was best of the day in Adelaide last time and can give this a shake. IT'SOURTIME (4) is back from a long break and a setback but he is a good horse if he is ready to go. Can say the same of both CARDINAL GEM (2) and PINSTRIPED (1) who have terrific ratings for this but have both been better over 1400m than 1200m. Pinstriped was one of the main hopes in the Australian Guineas on this day last year and he has only taken on better races than this in the 12 months since.
