DUKE DE SESSA (1) made a great return to racing, winning at G3 level over 1600m at Caulfield with 60kg, defeating Marble Arch who came out and won the G2 Blamey impressively last week. He's a Caulfield Cup winner who is far better suited at this trip, and at the set weights. YOUNG WERTHER (6) did beat Duke De Sessa at set weights at Caulfield first up last time in and he does race very well at Flemington. Sets up nicely from the low draw. Big watch on MIDDLE EARTH (3) who makes his Australian debut. He was brought out as a top Melbourne Cup hope but we haven't seen him yet. Third to Isle Of Jura and Goliath in the G2 Hardwicke last time in is world-class form. Market will be the key. BERKSHIRE BREEZE (9) hit the line nicely fresh after settling back. Stays at 2000m against some capable types here but he can run well. SHAIYHAR (8) gets back to Flemington where he races best.
