He dead heated to win the Talindert Stakes here last time and the co-winner Tentyris has since placed in the Blue Diamond. Shining Smile takes the easier route and can be rewarded from it. CAVALRY GIRL (5) ties in with Shining Smile having won well here last time. She can go on with it. EXCENIA (8) is a nicely bred Exceed And Excel filly who has trialled well and can figure. MARSEPT (9) perhaps next best for the Hawkes camp.
